Vantaggi
plenty of hours to work
Svantaggi
intense training program with a handbook full of rules. realized in a few days that those rules aren't actually implemented by employees, and not enforced by GM. to sustain such a high paced business, some of the rules aren't realistic. work hours are long (11 h shifts) with no breaks for managers (hence no food unless you eat standing in a corner.) i found the job description misleading. promises of raises and advancement only if you work hard, but working hard while in training only made other employees feel like they could boss me around (some were standing on their phones during slow times instead of stocking up for busy times.) different GMs would do things different. many things weren't specified at first, and learned later from other people. not sure I would have been promoted at the end of my training.
