Vantaggi
Wasn't very stressful or busy. Colleagues were down-to-earth. Full pay under union rules.
Svantaggi
Managers expect you to completely devote yourself to a part-time job at a supermarket. Can't eat while closing (Not even a bread roll while there's no customers around and you haven't eaten for hours, wow!) Managers gives conflicting information regarding your workhours, I would sometimes be called in the middle of the day, being expected to be at my position, while I have no memory of agreeing to having shifts at that time Two managers had the exact same name, and I had not even been been informed of that, therefore a lot of communication mistakes happened because of that. One manager made it her personal crusade to be very vocal about every mistake I made, even going as far as to accuse me of being about to leave as we closed for the day, when I was really just standing in a way that looked like I was (I wasn't.)
