CGR has several standout qualities. I believe the CEO is genuinely committed to his employees' well-being, especially the recruiters, in contrast to many agencies that operate on a model demanding high output with minimal support, such as draw-against-commission structures. Additionally, many recruiters and support staff put in real effort to build a welcoming, collaborative environment that fosters a strong sense of camaraderie.

Unfortunately, these positives are overshadowed by a toxic culture. A select "core" is favored, often at the expense of more experienced recruiters who end up feeling marginalized. The company markets itself as a "Christian values" organization, but this often translates into an exclusionary environment where anyone who doesn’t share specific beliefs (i.e. mostly conservative Evangelical Protestant) — whether Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, or secular — feels out of place. This favoritism and lack of diversity foster an atmosphere of exclusion rather than inclusion.
The company also has a high turnover rate, with constant layoffs, firings, and abrupt policy changes that create a chaotic and paranoid atmosphere. Stability is lacking, and new initiatives are regularly introduced only to be scrapped a few months later, making it hard for employees to feel secure or invested.
