Management: window dressing at its finest towards both - their employees and patients alike. It's never about the person, it's always about the money. Stagnation: you won't be allowed to learn more than they want you to. In the beginning I was promised opportunities for growth within my position and the company. Every time I expressed my wish to learn and help more, I was turned down. The manager keeps on hoarding all the duties to herself and does not want to show you the ropes. They're cheap: as a front desk person you can expect to be asked to dust, do laundry and maintain the cleanliness of public restroom. Why hire a cleaning personnel, if such tasks can be presented as part of patient care coordinator's duties. Pay: average at best. Make sure to use up your accrued sick and vacation hours as soon as applicable. Don't expect any severance pay.
