Inconsistent expectations from the corner-office CEO/owner who created a very toxic work environment. Managers were promoted to lead but lacked leadership and people skills. High turnover rate due to bullying tactics; with less than 40 employees, more than 14 resigned in less than 24 months because of the middle school type behavior and toxic environment created. Leadership often force people to leave by shifting the work-life balance, increasing the workload, changing expected work hours, and making the employee feel isolated from others. Termination is rare, but bullying is encouraged; often times initiated from the owner (no one escapes her unwarranted wrath) and managers focused on saving themselves.

Culture isn't great. Kind of a go in, do your job and leave kind of thing. Middle management often has conflicting messaging, or doesn't know what's going on.
