Huge disconnect between the reps who call on salons and the people in the office who make the decisions and purchases. The buyers have made some very bad decisions and its the reps who are blamed for an item's failure. The company cannibalizes itself. The stores, outside reps, and inside reps are all competing against each other for sales from the same customers. Lower and mid-level managers usually have no salon experience and lack basic management skills....especially in California. The concept of being a leader escapes them....they are micromanagers.

You work alone for a few outs Also if you are scheduled Sundays you work alone. Some people come in and steal and it’s scary if you don’t know how to handle the situation. Especially if you are alone Even though you don’t have to deal with the public you do at the same time because some people come in and try to shop even though they don’t have a license.
