Vantaggi
The only pro for working at this TERRIBLE company was one of the managers called Omari and even he got so fed up he resigned (the rest are rude, arrogant French stress-heads).
Svantaggi
Firstly, they lie about the pay - the immediate Manager (Frank) will tell you that you can earn up to EUR 2,400 including commissions. The truth is that they'll put you on the a zero hours contract and block you from earning commissions for the first 2-3 months, on top of which, they'll promise you the company lawyer will sort out a NIE (national ID number for foreigners) but I waited 3 months and had to do it myself, meaning you're charged at an emergency tax rate that's between double and treble what you're taxed as NIE-registered.
Secondly, there's the work environment: it's ridiculous - a glass open office that doesn't resemble anything like any call centre I've worked in before (no acoustic dampening, broken headsets & an antiquated PC database that you have to manually refresh every 10 seconds). You're expected to make & receive multiple calls and place customers on hold and get shouted at for the simplest of mistakes. Most outbound calls are cold or unwelcome pitches to scam emotionally vulnerable people into a 10-minute psychic reading, hope that they run over their time so that they can be charged exorbitant per-minute rates then 'up-sold' a package of minutes that range from USD100-1,000!!! It's like working in a bad, low-class remake of "Boiler Room" ..but without the personalities or any interesting characters.
When they pay you, they often pay late (I witnessed several employees losing flat deposits because they were messed around or short-changed on their wages and I turned up once to cash a pay check and the bank told me the company had insufficient funds to honour the check???
Then there's the actual organisational structure - which feels dodgy as hell in itself; they had three (unexplained) company name changes in the space of 6 months: EMERALD TE AYUDA S.L. then LLAMAME SiEMPRE S.L. which then changed all contracts into another company called THE 7TH CIRCLE S.L. all of which were supposedly owned by or closely affiliated with the French parent company CosmoSpace. Dodgy. Very dodgy, especially for a company that are sloppy with their Data Protection and handling by giving customer payment and account details such as pop-ups that read "This client has spent $5,000 with us in the past 30 days" which beggars belief, given the poor quality of the 'psychics' they actually use ...who are mostly inexperienced, stressed out, poorly paid readers in Tunisia, with a fake profile photo on the easy-psychic.com website!
The 'Managers' (if they even deserve that title) talk to the telephone operators like scum and regularly shout & swear because they're incapable of handling pressure and have zero people skills, then there's a particularly smug one - a failed English lawyer who spoke French and would criticise staff behind their back because he was too weak to say it to their faces and because he thought he was superior (which reflects a deep inferiority complex) and probably because he smoked too much weed (drug use is also rife amongst the staff - God help them if the Police decided to raid the office and randomly drug test the employees and managers!?).
