Vantaggi
Junior employees are generally nice and supportive, but morale is low across the team. While peers provide solidarity, support from managers, leadership, and HR is often lacking.
Svantaggi
The management is too rigid and controlling, leaving no room for creativity or independent thinking, which severely limits your experience. The working environment is extremely chaotic and lacks structure. While some of the people are personally nice, as professionals the leadership team is very disorganised. There is little respect for employees’ time, and managers often don’t make time for 1:1s, leaving you with no direction, feedback, or support. Hiring decisions also feel poorly structured. Roles and responsibilities outlined in job descriptions often don’t match the work you end up doing day to day, leaving employees stuck without the chance to deliver what they were actually hired for. Later, management tends to frame this mismatch as underperformance, often playing the standard “it’s not you, it’s us” card when letting people go. Unthoughtful hiring decisions + Control and lack of trust and delegation = Inability to make time to support employees or provide clear direction/feedback → Resulting in employees being let go in the name of “performance.” One of the biggest red flags for me personally was being called in for an interview at 5:30pm, which reflects how little time leadership makes for recruitment and people-related responsibilities during the day. It set the tone for the lack of respect for employees’ time throughout my experience there. The founder and senior leadership can be really unprofessional at times — for example, former employees are openly mocked in the name of humour, which contributes to an unhealthy culture. Morale across the team is really low, and most employees are unhappy. HR themselves admit they hear the same feedback repeatedly in exit interviews, yet nothing changes. Instead of fixing systemic issues, the company leans on freelancers and agencies to keep things running as staff continue to leave. Overall, the business is disorganised and unsupportive. If you’re looking for professional growth, stability, or respect, this is DEFINITELY not the place.
