- There is a strong sense of control rather than trust. People are monitored rather than empowered, which kills creativity and initiative. Employees are highly demotivated and unhappy. Don't expect to learn from someone, or to be mentored or guided to grow in your career. Nobody cares about that.
- Company culture feels obsolete and extremely top-down. Decisions are made only by C-level, the rest are just puppetry, which makes it difficult to feel free to experiment your own ideas.
- Managers often fail to treat people with basic respect or appreciation. Employees feel undervalued and disposable rather than supported. There is little to no people management. Feedback, recognition, and genuine care for employee well-being are largely absent.
- HR is practically non-existent as a support function for employees. They mainly protect management interests and offer no real guidance or support. No people culture, no modern practices.
