Unfortunately a lot of organizations that preach equity don’t practice it, even the ones who teach others. Work expectations are unreasonable and unmanageable. Their turnover is HIGH at first I thought it was other people but it’s actually the CEO and the Executive suite. They do not respond well to feedback and they run productive people into the ground until they are burned out and toss them aside. There’s no strategy to the work, just urgent action that doesn’t deliver impact or results. If feedback is given that offers a different perspective people are immediately ostracized. There’s a “in crowd” that is very gossipy. If you’re in the “out crowd” expect to get fired soon. For an organization that got famous for their Dismantling White Supremacy Webinar … they sure practice it themselves in the work culture. I hope this review prevents people from working in such a toxic environment.
