I've been working here for a few years now. My experience has been very positive with the company. My management team has been very engaging, inclusive, personable, and has given me opportunities for career growth regularly. The work-life balance is very comfortable, the workload is manageable, and the work itself has been engaging. My management team consistently advocates for new ideas and is open to change when its worthwhile. I'm very grateful for that as it enables a work environment that promotes creativity. Educational courses can be available to be budgeted for, the Paid Time Off policy is very fair, most holidays off (with sporadic surprise half days around them), working from home is available when needed and in poor weather, options for medical coverage are reasonable, and there is a 401k plan (no matching currently). There are also end of year bonuses that can be earned. My coworkers are pleasant and I enjoy their company throughout the day. There is a healthy mix of age groups, personalities, and ethnic diversity which is fun to be around. The commute for most is ok, though rush hour can be frustrating for those coming from a distance (thats everywhere though). You get a 1 hour lunch which is nice as there are many places for food (or for going to parks that are close by to stretch the legs a bit). Overall, its been a very good place to be the past few years. I have a good time going into work most days and I'm glad to be able to say that....(also did I mention pizza day once a month?)
Svantaggi
Sometimes tricky to meet the new people from other departments, you really have to bump into them even though its not a large company. A lot of time spent at the desk. Each department has its own challenges to face in terms of work, I'm fortunate that I have a lot of diversity in my daily load, but some in mine feel the work can be repetitive and monotonous after a while.
