Vantaggi
The CEO/owner knows how to take tare of his employees. Benefits are great for a small company. You also get catered meals weekly. You end up saving money due to the stocked breakroom and meals. Very nice and cordial individuals. It is a growing company and they are not afraid to share the growth with the employees. Overall, the company and most of its departments are run well. They also allow the means to engage in extracurricular activities if you have the interest.
Svantaggi
They are a religious company and at times it leaks in the business operations. They are bit of a slow paced company. The software development department is lacking and sub-par compared to other software development firms. There is a lack of teaching and honing of full stack web development skills. Amongst the team there seems to be an aversion to teaching, with that being said, there is also little mentoring on effective software engineering or software troubleshooting. You can take the initiative on your own time which would suffice in learning real world techniques. The development department should primarily house web designers as that is where most of the work resides. Because there is not a sufficient amount of development for full stack application developers the years spent here may not translate well to many software development positions(You could potentially learn more at technical interviews at other jobs). In terms of Software Development and resume building, this may not yield optimal growth(you will be behind other developers in other companies), but it is ideal for a student looking to start financial responsibility while potentially looking elsewhere. The software department are not up front during the interviews. They will have you expecting something, but the work may not be nowhere near what you were expecting. Eg. Many people came because of the title(for resume building), but ended up having their titles diminished later on(Software Engineers became Web Developers). Or understating the usage of HTML/CSS vs OOP.
