Management is always looking for someone to take the blame for something. Very toxic environment between certain groups of people working there. HR too friendly with other employees and plays favoritism. Too many different clicks of people working there. Some think they are better than others and some are very immature and snobby. Not really sure who manages the company because there are too many people bossing everyone else around. Nothing good ever mentioned about their employees only the negative things. Would never ever recommend anyone to work there.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm unhappy to hear about your feeling towards the team and company and if there are specific issues, I would appreciate hearing more, so we can improve things. I would like to address some of the issues that were listed. You wrote, “in management always looking to blame someone.” After reading W. Edwards Deming’s book on quality control and non-conformances, he has a quote that always hit home with me, “85% of the reasons for failure are deficiencies in the systems and process rather than the employee.” So, I always thought it is unwise to blame people when the bigger piece of the pie falls in the process failure of the company. When a non-conformance occurs in the company, we always ask the employee opinion of how it could be prevented in the future, and they come up with the most ingenious ideas on how to fix the process, which we later implement. HR sole purpose is to manage the numerous needs of our team members so please keep in mind in the future that some team members require more attention than others based off the job demands or personal issues. Please do not take this as favoritism but that someone is looking after the needs of the team members. I want to explain my philosophy on who manages the company. CROFT has been built and formed over the years to be a team-based atmosphere with self-accountability. The team and project leads understand the requirements of what needs to get done and will work together to achieve those results, so I hate to hear that you took the team needing assistance from your position as bossing you around. We fostered this culture for our company to stay agile and flexible to the demands of the market. I know this atmosphere is not for everyone especially those that like the big corporation and the locked in hierarchy that need to be micromanaged. We want to attract our team members that have ideas of improvement to see them as individuals with families/personal responsibilities and aspirations in life. To sum what it is like at CROFT I really liked the review of another anonymous employee, “It's noticeable when employees aren't pulling their own weight or have the best interests in the growth of CROFT. It's not the kind of company you can fake it until you make it.” Thank you again for the feedback and wish you luck in your next endeavor.

Where to start? Lets get the main problem out the way. The owner is an act. His whole personality is performative. He preaches “values” but is a huge hypocrite and very toxic. He can and will smile in your face then plot your downfall. I had a perfect 4 year run at this company, the minute I didn’t turn over for him I was out. He will respond to this with some “nice guy” stuff, try to save face. Do not believe anything they tell you. Alot of people here compromise themselves for a dollar. I lost alot of respect for people I once looked up to at this company. This place is honestly a snake’s den.

Your supervisor and team members addressed these issues with you on multiple occasions, offering guidance on the behaviors and performance standards that needed improvement.
