The first years at the clinic were relatively drama free. It appeared that the company had a certain type it preferred as employees and customers (patients), but in my role, it didn't make much of a difference as long as I didn't want to develop my career beyond that role. New management seems to have doubled-down on the preferences in terms of who they promote and hire -- specifically, pretty, young, "cool kids" from affluent backgrounds who high-five each other and support the surfer culture the company endorses. The new management has taken away benefits and resources, making the company less desirable as an employer.
