Vantaggi

This is a community of people who actually care about each other. Our lead pastor doesn't discriminate kindness or play favorites. The culture is strong. Flex PTO, Wonderful office space, and health benefits 100% paid for by employer for each employee. Really fun atmosphere. Great for people who like to work really hard but also have a lot of fun. Good work life balance.

Svantaggi

Can be emotionally demanding if you are not called to ministry.

Vantaggi

Flexibility and some good people for the most part.

Svantaggi

Compensation is practically unlivable in a city like Nashville. Especially with the benefit package, or lack there of. While benefits are technically offered, the out-of-pocket cost is nearly double what you’d expect elsewhere. Over the past 2.5 years, there’s been a consistent and visible decline in both staff and congregation. Staff turnover has been alarmingly high—at a rate that would be unsustainable in most other sectors. Most recently, layoffs have begun. Morale is low as low as it can get, and it feels like leadership is actively contributing to the organization’s decline rather than trying to course-correct. It’s hard to watch.
