You get to drive cool cars. Master Techs make great hourly. Sales is good commission if you've been there a while.

Where to begin. Crown automotive is a horrible company. Benefits are sub-par though they try to make you think they are great because they are SLIGHTLY better than average nationally. The sales and service departments don't work as teams and aren't set up to. --which is great when a salesman guarantees a loaner car ANYTIME a customer gets service done! That never happens for routine maintenance or any small job. Stop lying to your customers! All it does is make an angry customer the service side now has to go the extra mile to make happy. Angry customers give service providers bad reviews! The sales staff in general are terrible. They fulfill every bad stereotype of a used car salesman. The GM could care less. All the dealership cares about is moving product end of story. They mistreat a lot of the lower staff members; Porters, Detailers, reception.. you name it.

Over 10 years in the car business and this was the worst group I've ever worked for. The only pro is, you will realize very quickly that this isn't a dealer group you want to work for.

The insurance is absolutely terrible. Most salespeople can't begin to tell you how their pay plans are calculated. Hourly draw of minimum wage, sell some cars or you actually OWE the dealership for them 'allowing' you to come to work each day. This is 2015, stop asking your salespeople to work 60+ hour work weeks. Turnover is an embarrassment. They claim to have the best training in the business, that's a joke. If they tell you that they rarely open Sunday's, it's a flat out lie. Do yourself a favor and find another dealer group to work for.
