The customers are phenomenal! The restaurant industry is full of diverse and interesting people and its a treat to be able to work with them. The team is great - very friendly and thoughtful people who care about the team and the company. The service can truly help the customer which is very refreshing. The leadership is very transparent about the org direction and it is very refreshing to hear the candid nature of some more important conversations.

Pay is not up to par with tech in BC for some roles - they have historically paid in stock. However, the stock options in the contracts have been minimal in some cases. This may change with the recent acquisition but something to be aware of. The leadership can be a bit lackluster and unorganized with people management and goals but this comes with the "startup" nature and culture. The performance can be very difficult to measure due to this. Success in your role can sometimes seem ambiguous - regular check-ins with your manager are a key.
