Vantaggi
This review is not a reflection of the highly esteemed Winter Boarding School, but instead Summer Schools and Camps. Culver has an amazing alumni network that can be leveraged to find a job elsewhere. Use it, and get out! Economic times are tough, but it is not worth it to sink to this level.
Svantaggi
The summer camp is run by old men who are out of touch with today's youth, and as such, are out of touch with the young staffers who make the camp what it is. The pay is an insult -- $2,050 for 7 weeks of hard labor. There is no air conditioning, and extra duties get sprung on people at the last minute. The pay is appears to be based on age -- I knew someone who made $4,000 his first summer there as an instructor with no prior teaching/camp experience (he was about 40 years old) whereas college students get paid half that.
