CTA is a great place for young architects and engineers to start out. Many people start here and stay here throughout their careers. CTA works on a variety of projects from 9 vertical market sectors. CTA has been in business since 1938 and has an outstanding reputation and many repeat clients. Compensation. Being a company headquartered in Montana has its downfalls, we have a low cost of living and low wage scale. CTA has trouble recruiting top talent from large markets, even though we are a fairly large company, largely because of compensation. CTA is very entrepenaurial, which is good and bad. Sometimes people that need to be mentored and trained are not given enough attention. CTA seems to have a learn how to do it yourself attitude. Which is good to a a certain extent, but can lead to employees feeling like they are on an island by themselves. CTA should implement changes in compensation and mentorship.
