An introductory note is necessary: CyberMaxx merged with CipherTechs about 2 years ago. That said, my great experience was limited to CipherTechs pre-acquisition and merger with CyberMaxx. And CipherTechs was the BEST company ever. Incredibly profitable, with recurring clients in a field that encourage clients to switch companies every year. Leadership was down to earth, with clear direction and messages. Managers were top consultants at their fields. I would never have resigned if it wasn't for the acquisition. There wasn't a single day that I didn't want to wake up and work with my team (globally & remote-first, even before COVID). We had no pressure, no micromanagement, no BS! Just do your job well and get paid for it! I loved it!

After acquisition by the Private Equity investment company and merger with CyberMaxx, everything changed. First, the CEO Brian A. repeatedly said "nothing would change - you guys are profitable"... well, it goes without saying he was lying. He literally destroyed the culture that made CipherTechs successful and profitable to the point of being acquired (!!!). Maybe he just doesn't know how to be a CEO? Truly sad to see this amazing company turning to ashes.
