Extremely unsupportive environment, no training whatsoever - Recensione dipendente - Health Care Support Worker presso Cygnet

Apart from the mandatory (ie... it’s the law!) PMVA (restraint) training....Absolutely no training is given whatsoever. No training in how to deal with the regular, severe attempts at suicide and self harm ALONE. no support, no advice. Essentially an extremely unsafe environment for patients. It is very traumatic having to respond to a patient who has tied a ligature very tightly around their neck, initially completely by yourself, with not a second of training.
