The understanding of leadership is distorted or non-existent. Promotions and rewards take place mostly on a "buddy" system basis, favoritism is abundant. Lots of smart people whose opinions are not heard and contributions are not acknowledged and who are getting frustrated day by day. There is currently a massive change program in the company, but unfortunately this change program was designed by management who is pretty much out of touch with the real struggles and did not care to solicit any inputs from employees before launching it. As a result conditions and quality of work are only deteriorating further. Finger-pointing culture is expanding beyond control. Smart people are leaving in scores. It's pretty much impossible to grow in the company unless you "know someone" and it frustrate young talent even more. The technology is also rather outdated and the notion of agile approach is non-existent, even though preached to customers.
