Vantaggi
Easy workload, and sometimes friendly coworkers with whom you can commiserate over the absurdities you encounter. I can only recommend working here if you need some quick money (albeit, not much) for minimal effort. Although the workplace culture is mentally taxing.
Svantaggi
Let's see... -Frequently changing schedules. -Constant looking over the shoulder from the hire ups, but not in regards to important matters like the actual work. No, you will get hassled about what you wear, who you talk to, and how often you use the restroom. Yes, it's as antiquated a place as you can find in 2021. -Receptionists are treated horribly by the bosses. -The "president" is an insecure bully who barely knows how to read or write but gets by on a silver tongue. He enjoys pitting employees against each other because he can't handle criticism of his own ineptitude. If you're in a sales position, RUN. You'll be subject to daily meetings where he rants about gobbledygook for hours while you should be doing actual work. I've been witness to several instances of sexist and inappropriate remarks from him. Yet through all his faults, he's able to maintain his position, which is impressive for an ex convict. -Several talented and skilled employees have gone by the wayside without good reason. It's happened so frequently that it's a running gag. Management has no eye for talent, only an eye for whoever punches in and out on time. -I have no idea how they've been able to run a print magazine for all these years without any proof of financial gain or success - they used to run events which ended well before Covid was even in the news. So, something is fishy and I wouldn't stick around to find out what it is.
