After the mass layoff due to the termination of KaDeWe's contract, the HR did not comply with basic bureaucratic functions and employees are unable to receive unemployment insurance. Messages were sent and absolutely no response or reaction. We worked for the company for years and at the end of the contract we were treated like nothing. My colleagues and I are absolutely disappointed. There is no possibility of career progression in most countries. They love to focus on leadership and personal development training that makes you believe that you will get a better position but it is impossible. (Except for their favorites ones).
