We have also signed a specific document to "agree to let go" of state defined supplementary payments for home office (to cover heating/internet/etc home office costs) - which adds a bitter taste to this decision to return to the offices. There were zero complaints on our remote work with even increased productivity within our team, based on metrics (as we also were willing to work out of ours since your work place is basically within reach all the time). Closing words - one of the arguments for the change was that "the front employees like drivers have zero home office and also worked during covid at the office" - which blew my mind as a remote worker. *the pros outweight this decision for myself, but I feel very disappointed as this was not agreed during the hiring process
