This company used to offer a compelling bonus structure for motivated Sales Reps. The limited scope of the product offerings currently limits any real earning potential. DHL does offer a competitive benefits, reimbursement, and upward mobility. However, to advance in the culture one needs to ignore the systematic disfunction that occurs on a daily basis. Between a suffering operation, inaccurate billing, and poor customer service it would take a very callous individual to ignore the customer complaints stemming from these deficiencies. On the other hand, there are very few people left that have ambition to lead the dented sales team at DHL.

Svantaggi

Poor leadership, irresponsible middle management, and poor financials have led this company into the state it is in today. The worst part of it is the lack of motivation across all functions.

Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.

You will be calling 80-100 times per day for months until you get promoted but it’s a fairly easy job. Can just be boring.
