Vantaggi

really cool community for kids with an overall positive purpose in the world, a good opportunity to build on cutting-edge technology like Node, npm, less. Cool design and really talented people

Svantaggi

management are very condescending know-it-all industry pirates who criticize/punish employees for not following instructions or questioning their ideas... then they complain that employees don't share their ideas more often or think for themselves. Thinly veiled, constant verbal abuse. Big ego is rewarded. Lots of paradigm shifts and work being thrown away.... more schemes than plans.

Vantaggi

Working with the kids was the only highlight of my job. They were amazing to work with and deserve a better platform.

Svantaggi

Everything else that didn't involve the kids was a huge con and constant negative. The management was a complete mess, and almost NONE of the people are qualified to work with children let a lone design an app and "educational content" for them. Lets talk respect for employees - there is none. They will shut down any and all ideas especially if you're outspoken on your thoughts. They don't want to hear it despite claiming to be "super woke" and "inclusive to everyone's thoughts and ideas". Dishonesty- oh, it's rampant in this company. You cannot trust anyone due to the constant bad-mouthing of one another, straight up gas-lighting to your face, the list goes on. Yikes, I almost forgot, not to mention the cringey begging they did to employees to write super positive, fake reviews for DIY to try and hide the high turn-around for moderators, employees, and teachers. This was something that was pushed in our face enough to where it was hard to even look at anymore.
