The word HACK comes to mind when thinking of DRC Video/Dancebug. They leave their clients in the dark after they pay. As a videographer I’ve had multiple people ask when they will get their photos/videos and that they have been waiting weeks. They lie to their customers about delivery because in actuality the people editing are swamped. As for contract workers they are severely underpaid and the working conditions are terrible. As a person who works in film I understand long hours but what DRC does is run their workers to the ground and push them out to the next event, all while paying them a disgraceful wage. There’s a reason why they don’t hire photographers/videographers and leave them on contract because they treat them unethically. Management is completely unethical and outright rude. No one will actually help you apart from some of the people handling the equipment/support. Anyone above them will endlessly lie to you or get annoyed with you to try and intimidate you, just to get you to not ask questions. A sad state of affairs all around. Save yourself the trouble and avoid at all costs.
