Vantaggi
- very good health insurance benefits - remote work a plus
Svantaggi
- Toxic, fear based culture - starting with the CEO. If you challenge anything, chances are you'll get the can. It's not leadership, it's dictatorship. - Complete lack of diversity or culture. No DEI whatsoever, minimal company gatherings aside from bi-weekly boring presentation/hype meetings. No employee bonding/wellness events. If anything, the culture that does exist is poor. - Leadership doesn't actually care about you as a person, doesn't give you the actual freedom to take the unlimited PTO they claim they have, doesn't care that you're burnt out, that teams are too lean and spinning their wheels against poor process and silly operating practices. - The company isn't interested in scaling policies or practices or creating efficiencies - everything is funneled through a small few people unnecessarily, creating burdensome work. - Lack of transparency around strategy, company OKRs, or finances. Teams are siloed and comms between groups is sporadic and stilted. Everyone's spinning their wheels straight to brick walls. - Decisions are siloed and made by a very small group with little visibility after they're made. Often they are nonsensical and there's no clarity re why/how/clear expectations. Total rat race. All in all, Dapper Labs has the worst parts about both start-ups and corporations. It's the worst of both worlds. None of the start-up upside at all.
