As with a lot of comments on here ill agree the bonus structure is a bit of a vague subject, I was on a bonus plan but never recieved anything over my tenure.
Additionally I never had the opportunity to do any formal training or qualifications, however I know others in my region and globally have gone on various courses to further develop their skill sets.
The final note I'll add here is sometimes I dont believe different departments are motivated in the right way, on a marketing team meeting we were told that "the CEO doesnt appreciate or value what the marketing department does."
