- Complete lack of management. Upper management doesn't care about the employees at all. - The company is small so big clients dictate deadlines and features, so basically as an engineer you become a support engineer for a large client. - The product is way too complicated which causes way too many technical issues. As a result on-call rotation is brutal. - The company is building products but there is no PM anymore. They all left. - Pay is very low, especially if you have a few years of experience. - Many micromanagers. People will ping you at any time throughout the day, even after 9-10 pm, and expect you to reply. - Firing culture, even if you're on H1B. - No company culture. - Exec team doesn't know how to run a business. - Poor project management. Always very tight deadlines that come out of nowhere, which causes engineering to hack things together all the time. - Workload can be very high at times. - Some VPs are straight up frauds...
