- Great benefits - Energetic culture - Prudent leadership - Positive work environment - Remote-friendly I've been with Databricks for 1 year at the time of this writing. I have found that the overall culture here is one of enthusiasm and excitement about the product and the industry. People here really believe in the power of what we offer, which is great. The benefits are quite competitive in my opinion, and management does a great job of showing appreciation for solid performance. Our CEO still welcomes every new employee by name at our weekly All-hands, and the culture is very energetic. The academic roots that our founders bring to the business are evident—it doesn't feel like just another business started by business people. They really care about the product.

Svantaggi

We work hard and stay busy, which itself is not necessarily a con—but if you aren't able to set boundaries and defend your time, you may find yourself working a bit longer into the day than you might like. However, in my experience management has been acutely aware of the potential for burnout and has been proactive in their efforts to mitigate it and recognize good work.

Vantaggi

Great teams made up of smart, motivated people. Databricks is an exciting place to work because it is part of the growing data and AI tools space. The benefits and income are also good overall.

Svantaggi

Databricks no longer feels like a startup. There are now multiple layers of bureaucracy, and leadership can feel territorial rather than collaborative. Over time, it can seem like business growth and internal politics have become stronger drivers than innovation or employee experience. For long-tenured employees, it may become harder to stay excited or feel challenged. Other companies may offer a more energizing environment.
