Small team, priorities can shift

- Generous PTO (although this is also a con because you never have time to take any PTO because everyone is overworked) - My teammates were wonderful

This company once had great potential, but over time, things have steadily declined. I’d recommend viewing older reviews with caution, as the environment has become highly unstable due to ongoing financial challenges and missed goals. Layoffs are now happening almost every quarter, and the young, less experienced leadership team often makes promises that aren’t kept. While frequent changes are normal for a startup, the financial strain has led to a cutthroat atmosphere, where departments often shift blame to protect themselves. Many employees are understandably overworked, and with continued layoffs, overtime has become the norm. I strongly advise against taking a job at Datasembly.
