- The founders are intelligent but immature, and have little idea how to steer the company effectively - When things are going well in the market, they hire and spend like crazy, unnecessarily burning through capital - The instant issues arise, they immediately engage in sharp layoffs, often imprudently cutting employees that are requisite for long-term health - Terrible healthcare with high premiums - Very low compensation; I was about $20k–$50k below market rate - Close-minded politically, and views that differ from management are not tolerated
