Vantaggi

There are some great individuals here who are hardworking and genuinely care about what they do. Team members often try to support each other, especially when things get hectic. The company attracts people who are motivated and willing to put in the effort.

Svantaggi

The biggest issue is the lack of consistency. Priorities change frequently, and it can feel like you’re constantly adjusting without a clear sense of direction. What’s important one week can quickly become irrelevant the next, which makes it hard to stay focused or feel productive. There’s also a disconnect between leadership decisions and how they play out day to day. Plans are set at a high level, but the execution often falls on teams that don’t have the clarity or resources needed to succeed. This creates unnecessary stress and inefficiencies. Communication isn’t always transparent, and employees are often left trying to piece things together on their own. Feedback is shared, but it rarely results in visible improvements, which can be discouraging over time. The pace is demanding, and without strong structure or recognition, it leads to burnout. When you factor in concerns around compensation and workload balance, it becomes difficult to see this as a sustainable long-term role.

Vantaggi

Exceptional people with growth mindsets. Visionary CEO and leadership. Challenging Environment Opportunities to learn and grow. My direct manager is super supportive and leads with empathy. You will never be bored here.

Svantaggi

This environment is amazing but it's not for everyone. We are a very ambitious company and we have large goals. We are a fast growth company and that comes with all the fun and challenges of growth. If you are looking for just a job this place isn't for you. Week one and two (and three) can feel like drinking from a firehose. But if you lean in I promise you will adjust.

Vantaggi

DealMaker has ambitious goals and a strong desire to grow. Many individual contributors are smart, hardworking, and genuinely want the organization to succeed. There is no shortage of effort or willingness to move fast, and some roles offer opportunities to take on responsibility quickly.

Svantaggi

There is a widening gap between leadership’s and the people team's stated vision and the day-to-day employee experience. Expectations continue to increase, but foundational support, including compensation, benefits, clarity of priorities, and sustainable workload, has not kept pace. Change is constant, but management is inconsistent and not listening. Priorities shift frequently, rushed initiatives stack on top of each other, and teams are expected to execute quickly without a clear understanding of what matters most or how success is being measured. This creates a lot of motion, but limited progress. Concerns around morale, burnout, benefits, and work-life balance have been raised repeatedly, but employees struggle to see meaningful action taken in response. Trust is rapidly declining. The culture feels increasingly transactional. High pressure, aggressive timelines and communication styles, and reactive decision-making leave little room for collaboration or long-term thinking. As a result, attrition risk feels high, and many teams are operating in a constant state of urgency.

Note: Over the past 10 days, we’ve received a much higher-than-usual volume of Glassdoor reviews. We’ve flagged this activity with Glassdoor for review. Regardless, we take all feedback seriously and will continue to respond thoughtfully and transparently. Thank you for sharing your perspective. You’re right to call out the gap that can form between ambition and day-to-day execution when clarity, sequencing, and support don’t keep pace with rising expectations. Over the past year, DealMaker has intentionally raised the bar on performance, ownership, and speed as we entered a new stage of growth. That shift has required frequent change and faster decision-making, and we recognize that when priorities aren’t translated clearly or adjusted for capacity, teams can experience urgency without alignment. Improving focus, follow-through, and how strategy connects to daily work remains an active priority. Concerns around workload, morale, and trust are taken seriously. While not every piece of feedback results in immediate policy changes, employee input continues to inform where we simplify, where we invest, and how we strengthen accountability across leadership and teams. DealMaker today is evolving by design into a more structured, high-accountability environment. That stage isn’t the right fit for everyone, and that’s okay. For those who stay, our focus remains on closing the gap between ambition and execution as we build a durable, high-performing organization.
