If you have self-respect never work for this company! I read the reviews before accepting the job and thought people could be exaggerating - they are not! Bullying, extortion, racism, xenophobia... you name it, all happened to me in less than 5 months. They operate understaffed (for a reason) and overwork you to the bone withholding legal breaks, changing your clock out times back to not pay you correctly. Manager was a bully - constantly yelling at staff, disappearing for hours straight on 2+hours lunch breaks and leaving early without explanation leaving always 1 staff alone for 8+hours without breaks, calling casuals at 1am in a Saturday, even caught her stealing clothes and nothing was done. During my first weeks, she refused to train me and just let me "guess" what to do so she could then complain. If that wasn't enough the company didn't have a proper backroom with a fridge, microwave and water: we had to buy everything on our expenses. Also, was put aside every time I was sick by the manager and area manager to get a lecture on how its the sick person's job to find a cover or otherwise come and always to "plan better" because "retail is fast-paced". Who plans when to get sick according to the company's schedule? After getting the job learned 6 other people rotated my position in less than 2 years - all quit because of the toxicity of the place. Even got to know that the one previous to me was in hospital getting emergency surgery and had to find a cover for herself because the manager refused to do so. Had a "colleague" from another store harassing me and disdaining my accent over the phone (she was a foreign too, by the way) and nothing was done besides being told "she is not the most mature person". It's a mean girls club from top to bottom - not worth anyone with integrity the time.
