The design team and their management were nice and fun people to work with, but that was it.

If an employer ever says "We're like a family here" what they mean is they're going to ruin you psychologically. Expect to have an entrepreneurial mindset only to wear every hat in the company. If you don't, then it's frowned upon and will get fired. I over extended myself year after year with very little help or support. It became normal to work late nights and weekends. I was constantly belittled by my supervisor and after years of being in a toxic environment, I finally spoke up. Two weeks later, I was fired. I am ashamed to have worked there and do not recommended it at all.
