My colleagues were friendly, easy to get along with, and eager to learn. And only because of them, the company environment was bearable. There are also a lot of good opportunities to learn from the projects that you might get assigned to; and many paths to take in order to further/evolve your career.

The cons are solely related to management: There is a very strict micro-management of every single aspect of your day. This includes your communication with colleagues and clients by way of management reviewing your emails before you send them, among many many other things. No regard for the feelings of the employees. Management would always berate employees for the smallest of mistakes. There was an atmosphere of fear throughout my short time at the company amongst all employees, that if they made the most minute mistake, then they would face the wrath of management. This was escalated by management reminding employees that there was no room for mistakes, and if any were made, then they would be responsible for the loss of the entire project. Which is understandable to a certain degree as you don’t want to hire incompetent people who don’t do the right work, and lose money, but at the same time, saying these kinds of things only works to lower the employees’ morale and nothing else. Moreover, there was pressure on the employees to accept ‘mistakes’ had they made them or not, simply to appease the client and management themselves. There was also a push for getting Microsoft certifications by any means. This involved management pushing employees to study exam dumps in order to expedite the certification process. By doing so, there was no environment that fostered the learning process, and instead focused simply on getting employees certified. I, myself, was not experienced with Dynamics, however, management rushed me to get certified and promptly after I was placed into a project with literally no experience. The main issue was that management was abusive, and very difficult to get along with. Sure, that might work in their sister company, Yasoob Consulting, as Delcit and Yasoob have the same management. This is only due to the employees’ culture being different (as they are located in Pakistan) which causes them to be tolerant of such abuse, though they shouldn’t be. From a North American’s perspective, this management style simply will not work.
