If you are a yes man who is too scared to fight for what your team deserves, you will probably get promoted - no progression opportunities, most promotions are an excuse to give you more work without paying well for it - if you ask about progression and what you need to do to move up the ladder, you’ll most likely be palmed off with no real answers
