Worst managers/leaders possible can be found at Dematic. A 200-year-old company that operates like a mom-and-pop shop. Promotions are based on incestuous relationships and those who just do what they are told so the bad preforming managers can keep their positions. Worst form of communications – no clear direction – talk a big talk and cannot deliver. CEO of Dematic blames the employees for not taking responsibilities. Managers throw there people under the bus to cover there tracks. Processes: they are constantly being reinvented and changed. They make it up to as they go. Safety is an issue. Business outlook for 2023 is poor. They have been laying off people and keeping the dead weights. KION has hired an outside firm to evaluate Dematic for restructuring. HR is a joke. DON’T WASTE YOURTIME APPLYING. Oh yes, they don’t pay the market rate although they tell you otherwise. Every few years they layoff people. STAY AWAY BAD MOJO.
