Firm keeps expanding its user base with a skeleton staff for IT resulting in a very high number of end users to support/support tickets,l. Most of your day is going through tickets you're essentially helpdesk no matter what your title is. No work / life balance, multiple maintenance windows each month and support calls can come in at any time including 3am. IT management has way too many active projects. Lack of meaningful PMO, engineers have to be project managers on top of doing the project work and supporting multiple systems and support tickets. A step backwards on my career.
