They work you to the bone and the pay low. You're never able to celebrate wins because you're always stressed about the next 10 programs you're working on. The design department barely knew if designs they worked hard on were picked. Each person working in a non director/senior level position was working nonstop, to the point where some would work countless nights to get proposals in to their respective reports to get nothing in return besides an email saying "thanks". It's almost as if you felt like you lived to work. The business development department were the least appreciated, they were put in middlemen positions speaking to clients, design teams, development teams, ops teams and would have to be the problem fixers for the sales team without reaping any of the benefits of the sales. It's a flawed system where the higher ups benefit and the lower positions never do, in all departments.
They're also weirdly not inclusive. There's a definite demographic here, you can't miss it right when you walk in the front door.
