Vantaggi
I worked at Destinus as a Field Service Engineer in the Energy sector starting in 2023.
Initially, the experience was positive — the environment felt collaborative and welcoming. However, after a work-related incident in October 2023, my experience drastically changed. The accident occurred due to what I believe were managerial safety oversights. Instead of receiving support, I was unexpectedly terminated the very next working day — a move that I believe lacked legal and procedural justification.
The company's handling of the situation was deeply concerning. The workplace accident was not acknowledged for nearly six months, despite multiple attempts to raise the issue. During this time, communications to colleagues included misleading information about my termination, which I found unprofessional and damaging.
Eventually, the company admitted some mishandling, offered to reinstate my contract, and sought informal resolution. However, these efforts did not lead to any concrete outcomes. To date, there has been no proper support or coverage for the health issues that resulted from the accident. Medical support was denied or ignored by the company, its insurance representatives, and legal advisors, despite repeated follow-ups over nearly two years.
Beyond the accident, I experienced a lack of career growth opportunities. Professional development expenses promised in the contract were not fully reimbursed, and support for reintegration was not handled according to recommendations from official authorities.
Overall, this was a highly disappointing experience. What started with potential became marked by mistrust, lack of accountability, and poor treatment. I hope my experience provides insight for future employees to approach this company with caution, especially in matters of safety, employee support, and transparency.
This review reflects my personal experience. I have documentation supporting the claims mentioned above.
