DB gives you an opportunity to learn different commodities. As a business analyst, I have exposure to natural gas, refined products, power, metals, etc. I've never been bored at my job. In addition to that, I'm very impressed with the quality of people that they hire here. While I only have a bachelors and didn't come from a Tier One school, everyone around me either has a Masters, PhD, or come from another investment bank such as Goldman, Credit Suisse, or Barclays. There are others that came from energy companies such as Chevron, Shell, Exxon, and BP. I've worked at several energy companies in the past and I always have been able to keep up. At DB people here are so smart and experienced that I feel dumb at times. After only two years working here, I've learned more here than all of other other 3 energy companies that I've worked at

Besides the usually office politics, everyone there are not a lot of cons. There is definitely work and life balance here. I've haven't really had to work a lot of over time hours or weekends. By 4:00, most of the trade floor and back office are gone. Since
