Ergo people are awesome. Company invests a lot on ensuring employee injury is at a minimum. They are FAST to respond to most all requests. I can't wait to get my standup/sitdown desk installed and receiving a bar mouse. Ave C (the mini-convenience store) is great. Perky Beans is a nice new addition. The Ping Pong table is a fun activity to do on a break. It's a paycheck (not a great one-but it's still there)

The Director, Managers and Supervisors will tell you what they think you want to hear. They make promises they have no intention on keeping. They tell you "yes, yes, yes" to your face, however their actions show they actually mean "H*LL NO"! Specialists are overworked. If you are very productive, as a reward, you are "volunteered" (aka demanded) to work on other projects, which takes you away from your regular work, then you are disciplined for not making the numbers you typically do. Furthermore, hard work and/or OT doesn't pay off professionally. It actually hurts you. Once you stop doing OT and your numbers go down (imagine that), you are disciplined. Managers and Supervisors are only happy if you do 12 hrs a day, 6-7 days a week, however when a "head honcho" asks why there is so much overtime, the Director tells him that the Specialists are wanting bigger paychecks. Most Specialists want to be home with their family and friends; not working. Most of the marriages/relationships are in trouble as a result of all the OT. If you don't do hours and hours of OT, you are shamed by the Sups (even if you can do all your working in an 8hr day). Employee allocation makes no sense. They keep experienced people doing menial tasks, while they give new people high profile, difficult tasks. Why? Because the Managers only want people to follow their direction with no feedback. If a very experienced Specialist with years and years of Medical Device experience offers advice or questions why something is done a certain way, the Specialist is blown off and their chance of ever moving up in the group is ended. To get promoted, you have to be in the "in crowd" of the Managers. You have to never question them and follow them like little ducklings. If one of them doesn't like you, forget it. You are done for; move on. Also, if a suggestion is given and actually taken and implemented, the Managers/Sups will take credit for it and the minion Specialists are never mentioned. Recognition is not given in this department. On the rare occasion you do get a small compliment it's followed by, "be more productive". The mentality of the Managers/Supervisors is demoralizing and is disenfranchising their people. We are not MACHINES! Now on to the benefits: Medical is less than exemplary. It's expensive and the co-pay is ridiculous. A normal Dr visit will have you paying out of pocket over $140. Dental is the standard - not bad, not great. There is ZERO 401(k) matching. What self-respecting corporation doesn't offer at least a small percentage? Bad form DexCom. There is an on-site gym in two of the buildings. But this is not a great gym though - a couple of bikes, treadmill and weights. If you need a good work-out, join a retail gym. Parking is a joke. Way too many employees and way too few parking spots. If a decent spot is to be found, it means getting to work at 5-6am. Turnover in the Complaints dept is high. As stated before, people are overworked and if assistance is requested, don't expect to get it. If I had known how bad this department was; there is no way I would have accepted their offer. I would not recommend this department to anyone I cared about. The company is growing too fast for its own good. They are going down a slippery slope with their employees. If they keep this up, they are going to have a mass exodus and that will only result in yet another Warning Letter (FDA 483).
