Despite significant outrage from staff, upper management has chosen to platform a transphobe; I don't believe that most of them are actively transphobic, but they have shown themselves to be spineless and unwilling to stand up for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
The rhetoric used by the company to justify discriminating against trans employees could also easily be applied to those who are gay, lesbian, and bisexual; indeed it has been, and continues to be, used to justify discrimination against us in the wider world.
Low salary and poor pay progression.
