People are nice, pay is good

Managers aren't the best and could use better training

I worked for Coastal Crane and then Digging and Rigging bought them out. I stayed another six months during the transition while the owners of Coastal continued as management. I enjoyed managing all of the accounting in the Baltimore office - All accounting functions AP, AR, certified payroll, cash receipts, etc. It was fast paced so constantly kept me busy.

I worked from 2014 to 2016. Recently (2022), there was a background check done on me for another position and they contacted Digging and Rigging, who claimed that I was an administrative assistant. That makes me look like I claimed a fraudulent title. My question is because I am a woman, is that why you automatically assume that I was an administrative assistant instead of managing the accounting department in the Baltimore office for two years? There was even a plaque on my desk with my name and accounting next to it. To say I am angry is an understatement. I do not appreciate having my work history tainted by your incorrect information. There will be more action from me if this disqualifies me from this current employment opportunity.
