7yThe Leadership of Digirad is always concerned with the well-being of our team members and strives to ensure we are staffed at the appropriate levels to ensure our team members have balance and we can meet our customers requirements. It is true that many times days are long due to the geographic areas we cover. Being a Moblie Imaging company serving mulitple locations requires long days at times. However, all incoming employees are advised of the long hours that may be required, are compensated for all hours worked and in many cases are given a shorten work week (less than 5 days) to address the longer work day. Our Benefit programs are quite broad and are provided through the largest, quality providers in the nation. All team members are required to take mandated meal breaks, compliance is closely monitored and all of our customers have been informed that these breaks are mandatory and must be accomodated. All of our incoming technologist must meet stringent credentialing requirements to join the team. Digirad has a relatively flat organizational structure, so management opportunities are not abundant but we encourage all team members to speak with their managers about advancement opportunities throughout the entire organization. Location mobility offers greater opportunity. I encourage this team member to reach out to their manager or Human Resources to discuss any current challenges/concerns.
