Leading a team of DBA professionals Conducting training and mentoring session as per the need of the client’s processes Collaborating with executive leadership to explicate high-level plans and coordinating with various stack holders Managing and driving the delivery across the complete portfolio of Data Management for all the customers based on their data strategic needs including Design, administration and enhancement. Proactively recommending customers to improve database performance and leading data center migrations and cloud migrations projects. Responsible for setting up new processes and smoothening the day-to-day operations carried by DBAs. Periodically reviewing environment and preparing plans and solutions to upgrade/patch & Migrate to keep database environment up to date. Manage the stability, availability, and performance of a large pool of databases totaling over 20TB in size Steering periodic server health checks of servers & Recommend solutions to improve performance Upgrading the knowledge of the newer SQL Server technologies like Log Shipping, Mirroring, Replications and Always ON configurations and deploy at client end based on their needs. Working on multiple customers at a time so getting an opportunity to learn different supporting market tools and good exposure of cross RDBMS plate form synch ups. Proactively reviewing environment for Performance Tuning to take care of problems faced by users related to slow execution of queries, deadlock, blocking, etc. Performing regular audits and responsible for server security and governance Preparing a plan and deploying Ideal DR strategy for clients and documenting regular DR drills. Responsible for all client’s incident & Service requests, assigning & prioritizing with defined communication channels with guidance considering contracted SLAs.
