Vantaggi
- Company once had a solid culture of collaboration, caring, community and respect. Remnants of that still exist, but has significantly worsened. - Client service team is excellent and is the backbone of the business. It's this team that keeps the company afloat. - Really good talent mid level and below and some great, caring personalities to work with.
Svantaggi
- Sales and account management are essentially allowed to manage other departments no matter what level they sit at. I've seen sales managers scold VPs like children and are empowered to do so. This creates conflict and frustration and drowns out ideas and intelligent voices. - C-level leadership has no long term growth plan. It's all about reduction and costs and not about connecting any real strategy to market opportunity. This results in reactive fad-based positioning, no ability to plan beyond a month or two. - Because no one knows what they want the business to be long term, it creates a huge risk companywide from a future revenue growth perspective as shareholder pressure for growth will increase. - Because of the reactive nature of the C-level layoffs happen every couple months or quarter demoralizing the company and creating a pervasive sense of instability. - C-level ignores operational and strategic problems (or is simply incapable of dealing with them) and instead simply replaces staff. Generally with connections outside the company, who, many times, are less qualified to do the jobs they have replaced. - Credit and attention goes to those who are the loudest and most unkind.
